Zoey Minzhu Perse

Designer Zoey Perse holds a BA in Urban Geography and is completing an MFA in design at Rochester Institute of Technology. 

Zoey is deeply inspired by traditional Japanese design and craft which values the quiet innate quality of materials and the quiet balance in good design. She creates sensitive minimal works addressing different forms of space. Space being a psychological, physical, visual and emotional fluid element that can create barriers and bonds between us all.

Zoey works in a variety of materials, following the central concept and listening to the need of each piece when deciding how to materialize it.
